BODHost UK servers are deployed in World Class BlueSquare Datacenter facility in Maidenhead, County Berkshire which makes our servers an excellent choice for all clients from Europe, Asia and Africa.
We operate a fully redundant BGP network consisting of two separate hardware vendors (Cisco & Extreme) which provides redundancy not only in the network level, but also on the hardware level. We operate two separate 2x10 Gigabit and 5x1 Gigabit networks, from both Extreme Networks and Foundry Networks at all locations. On top of this layer 2 network we operate two independent IP Transit networks (AS29550 and AS34920) which run from multiple Cisco Systems 7606-SRSP720 and 6509 SUP720 routers at multiple London facilities, offering true redundancy to each customer.
We deploy fully redundant, enterprise-class Cisco routing equipment in our datacenter. All routing equipments are housed in a secured core routing room fed by its own redundant power supply. Fiber carriers can only enter our data center at disparate points to guard against service failure.
The data center is safeguarded by redundant indoor cooling systems that are kept at an optimal 22°C +/- 2°C temperature. The cooling systems offer an accurate and reliable control of humidity, airflow, and room temperature that improves the working conditions for the susceptible electronic equipment.
Technically advanced, well-trained and dedicated professionals available round the clock are responsible for the maintenance and normal functioning of all the servers.
Equal Power distribution (60 watts per sq. ft.- 80 watts per sq. ft). Each cabinet 4' x 6' gets 110 volt, 20 amp circuit. The main power sums up to 480 volt, 3 phase.
The data center provides redundant power systems with an Inline power backup using Powerware UPS systems and multiple 2 megawatt diesel generators with ample standby fuel. In the event of a power outage, the power management system starts the generator within seconds and transfers power to the UPS for charging. Generators are regularly tested & can be used in case of emergency event of extended utility power outages.
The data center is built inside its own secure compound, with 3-meter fencing and electric entry, including anti-tailgate systems. A high level of access security is maintained, protected by 24x7 secure entry via swipe card system with 6-layer entry which restricts access to authorized personnel only.
The facility is protected by sophisticated air-sampling, smoke and fire monitoring systems, pre-action, dry-pipe sprinkler systems and clean agent inert gas systems. Wet Risers are set in at every square position along with FM-200 system installed. The advanced fire protection system prevents fire from spreading in the unlikely event one should occur.
